Matthew qualified as a solicitor in the City in 1997, gaining initial experience in general employment law before specialising in immigration and nationality work. He joined Fox Williams in November 1999, having worked for a leading business immigration law firm in the West End. Matthew has expertise in all aspects of UK business and employment-related immigration, including advice to employers as to potential liability for illegal employment of foreign nationals. He also represents private individuals and business people in relation to UK immigration and nationality matters.

Matthew is a member of the Employment and Business Sub-Committee of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association and speaks and writes regularly on immigration issues affecting employers and business people.
