Yawar advises both businesses and individuals on a range of immigration and nationality issues. He regularly advises listed companies, multinationals, SMEs, start-ups, small businesses and education sector clients on their business immigration needs. This includes obtaining sponsor licenses, management of the sponsorship system, assisting with all compliance duties, prevention of illegal working, and conducting audits to obtaining the relevant work authorization for their employees. He also provides advice on all applications under the Points Based System and advises private individuals, both European and non-European nationals, on all aspects of UK immigration and nationality law. This ranges from the initial application through to Indefinite Leave to Remain and Naturalisation as a British Citizen. Yawar is also experienced in providing advice on complex family immigration applications.

Yawar joined our immigration team as an associate in May 2018 having completed his training as a solicitor at a niche business immigration and employment firm in February 2018. He has been working in immigration and nationality law since 2012 and, prior to training as a solicitor, gained experience with a Big Four firm’s corporate immigration team.
